Holders of over 50 world records, Everol reels have been manufactured in Modena, Italy since 1958. Newell came on the Southern California scene about 25 years ago as a result of Carl Newell's thousands of hours of research, development and prototyping a simple tough reel. Utilizing graphite, stainless steel and the latest technology, he created a line of light, strong, corrosion proof, simple reels,  that 'out of the box', will match casts with anything on the globe.
